Who We Are

Incorporated in 2022, S.C. Laurentian is the culmination of years of painstaking research and fastidious groundwork by a group of likeminded sportspersons with an unrelenting willingness to imagine the impossible and a firm belief that geographical location should never pose as a constraint to cultivating local talents and transforming them into outstanding players in the global football arena.

Inspired by what is popularly known as the continental approach in football, the training we impart effectively combines the functional as well as the emotional development of the players with their fundamental understanding of the game at an individual level, and inculcates the learners with a player-centric philosophy based on one’s psychological, social, physical, and technical profile.

We pride ourselves in our holistic style of football training and understand that becoming a versatile and agile player asks for much more than merely mastering the theoretical as well as the practical aspects of the game. Our training academy strives to foster not only legendary players but also aim to mould them into outstanding individuals who can rise to every challenge and accomplish great feats throughout their lives.

We also extend our heartiest thanks to our esteemed patrons and sponsors of player merchandise, Frank-Chris Petroleum and Muroko Industrial Gases, who made it possible for us from the very beginning to chase a seemingly preposterous dream for years until the same magically flourished into a tangible reality on one fine morning.

Very few people believed in us when we shared our vision of establishing a state-of-the-art training academy right here in the picturesque city of Kumasi in Ghana. We were determined to make it at par with the finest and most advanced football coaching centres across the globe to mentor potential players by equipping them with techniques unheard of in entire Africa and offer opportunities aplenty available only at the international level.
